Dr. Corey Blake is a native of Sandwich and a fourth generation Cape Codder. After graduating from Sandwich High School, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Roger Williams University in 1998. She subsequently earned her doctorate degree in veterinary medicine in 2002 from Tufts Veterinary School in N. Grafton, Dr. Corey Blake is a native of Sandwich and a fourth generation Cape Codder. Dr. Jessamyn Kennedy is an Associate Veterinarian at Oceanside Animal Hospital. She completed her undergraduate degree at The University of Massachusetts, her doctorate at Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, and a veterinary internship at Ohio State University. She has experience practicing with dogs, cats, farm animals, and horses. She has a special interest in GI diseases and feline medicine.
Tracy is the office manager at Oceanside Animal Hospital. A Cape Cod native and graduate of Barnstable High School, Tracy was originally inspired to study animals in their natural environment. In high school she participated in ecology classes and field research trips to Sandy Neck Beach. She then went on to earn her BA in Biological Science and English from Simmons College in Boston where she also worked as a research intern for four years at Harvard School of Public Health.
Melaine is a Client Care Representative at Oceanside Animal Hospital. She is responsible for managing patient vaccine compliance, filling prescriptions, maintaining office supplies, answering phone calls, checking patients in and out, scheduling appointments, and managing our wellness plans. She is currently working toward a degree in Business Administration. Originally from the Finger Lake region of New York, Melaine was raised surrounded by nature.
Angel is the resident bird at Oceanside Animal Hospital. Her duties include tearing up boxes, barking at dogs, singing to children, and mimicking the phone. Angel is an African Grey parrot who came to live with us when her owner could no longer care for her. She loves to interact with people and pets. In her spare time she plays with her toys and cardboard boxes.
Skitter is the hospital cat at Oceanside Animal Hospital. Her duties include greeting clients and patients, stepping on computer key boards, hanging up telephones, sampling retail merchandise, and making a mess of the bathroom. Skitter, a domestic long haired silver tiger with a hint of Maine Coon, was adopted as a kitten from a shelter in Scituate and has been with us since the practice opened in 2012.
